Parents will always be their child’s primary educator. We understand that your role is vital in ensuring a successful future for your child. That is why at MRN we hold informative events and workshops throughout the year exclusively for our parents in order to help them improve upon their child’s learning journey at home. The themes of our events and workshops vary from updates in Early Learning and Childcare legislation, the latest pedagogical trends, innovative learning experiences for children and important health and hygiene facts.
Please see our upcoming events page for the next workshop.
Our Recent Events
Walthamstow’s Grand Open Day
Saturday 5th August 2017
Thank you to all of the parents that attended our Grand Open Day at Walthamstow!
It was a rainy day, but we didn’t let the rain get to us! The parents and children still enjoyed a fun filled day with lots of activities as well as a surprise visit from Elsa and Chase!
Stockwell’s Sports Day
July 30, 2017
The parents, children and staff had great fun participating in our yearly sports day! However, instead of using the hall in our setting, we arranged to use the track and field in Tooting Bec.
The children and parents loved the idea of using the track and it even made them more competitive!
Kennington’s Grand Open Day
July 15, 2017
Thank you to all of the children, parents and staff that came and helped out at Kennington’s Grand Open Day!
Although the weather wasn’t great, we all still had lots of fun face painting, on the bouncy castle and enjoying a lovely BBQ.
Stockwell’s Toddler Workshop
July 08, 2017
The toddler’s staff in Stockwell did a great job in organising their very own Toddlers Workshop for new and existing parents. This event was organised in order to help parents understand how their children learn at nursery and what they can do at home to continue their learning.
They took part in activities such as biscuit decorating, learning about the EYFS and the healthy meals we provide here. Thank you all for coming!
“The staff are very lovely. Long opening hours. Lots of events are organised and lots of fun things they do with the children every day.”
